		<description>Hi Roberta - Thanks for the feedback. I don&#039;t know about controlling germs with onions but that reminds me of the Osage-orange or commonly called Hedgeapple - it has been reported to prevents the presence of spiders and other insects if placed in a room.</description>

		<description>I like all the herb info!  Would be interested in some organic advice on growing herbs as well.  Also wondering if there is any truth to the old wives tale that leaving an onion in the room to absorb germs will actually work!  I know some people who are doing this.  Not sure how scientific this is!</description>
