Aloe Vera – medicine plant burn plant
Aloe Vera is a succulent drought-resistant tropical plant that forms clumps of short-stemmed rosettes of fleshy evergreen leaves, up to 2 feet long. These leaves are pointed and are edged with teeth. Tall flower stems have spikes of yellow, orange or red tubular blooms. Aloe Vera is often grown as a house plant in colder climates.
Uses: A friend of mine used aloe vera sap to cure a sore her son had on this ear, that he simply could not cure with anything else. It is the most soothing sunburn treatment out there.
According to legend this plant is the sole survivor from the Garden of Eden. The gel-like sap from the leaves is used externally to cure wounds, burns, and mastitis. It is used in the making of some products that are used as purgative bitters but this requires caution on your part and is ill advised because if used improperly it may cause hemorrhage. Lotions, toothpaste, juices, shampoo are just some of the products that use the aloe vera sap.
It makes a very useful and decorative houseplant.

Hi Spicy
An Aloe Vera plant is a must have in my house because it contains a pain relieving agent and is a contact healer. It is excellent for burns by both removing the dead skin and stimulates the growth of living cells. We use it for many things – another tip is it expels pinworms : just drink the juice of the plant for a few days.
